MORLEY, Mo. — Jeannie Elizabeth Keefer Williams, daughter of the late Fred and Carrie Griffith Keefer, was born Dec. 15, 1932, in Morley, and departed her life Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, at Bertrand Nursing and Rehab Center in Bertrand, Missouri, at the age of 89 years.
She was a former branch manager at Bank of Chaffee and First Commercial Bank and a resident of Morley. Jeannie was a very active and dedicated member of the Morley Church of God, along with the Morley Community Betterment program. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On May 13, 1961, she was united in marriage to Ralph "Pete" Williams in Morley. He preceded her in death Jan. 10, 2013.
Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl (Brent) Powell of Morley, Sheila (Derek) Mills of Vanduser, Missouri, and Tracy (Dickie) Jordan of East Prairie, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by four brothers, Johnny, Syl, Merle and Bill; and by two sisters, Emma and Cletha.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Morley Church of God.
Funeral will be at noon Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the church, with the Revs. Mike Worrell, Richard Triplett and Larry Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morley.
Pallbearers will be Dickie Jordan, Derek Mills, Brent Powell, Shane Irby, Nathan Mills and Philip Carr. Junior pallbearers will be Tyson Carr, Noah Mills, Gus Irby and Issca Irby.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
