Caitlin Michelle Burress, 33, of Jackson passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at her home.

She was born Aug. 17, 1989, in Paducah, Kentucky, the daughter of Terry and Crystal Adams Burress.

She was a 2008 graduate of Jackson High School, and she attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.

She was a majority member and past honored queen of Job's Daughters Bethel No. 60 in Jackson, served at the state level in various positions, and was a past associate state sweetheart of Missouri DeMolay. She was also a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson.

She was most recently employed as a salon consultant for State Beauty Supply in Cape Girardeau.

Caitlin was blessed with talent as an artist, vocalist and instrumentalist. She especially enjoyed singing karaoke and spending time with her son, Jasper. She and Jasper were the best of friends.

Loving survivors include her son, Jasper Burress-Johnson of Perryville, Missouri; mother, Crystal (Mark) Goodwin of Jackson; father, Terry (Ramona) Burress of Spring Hill, Tennessee; two brothers, Blake (Cary Miller) Burress of Nashville, Tennessee, and Matthew Webber of Spring Hill; maternal grandmother, Lena Adams of Dexter, Missouri; aunts, Stephanie (Ron) Thomason of Dudley, Missouri, and Sheila (A.J.) Taylor of Haines City, Florida; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The Rev. John Rice will conduct the funeral service at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, at the funeral home.
