Micheal Riggs

Micheal Charles Riggs, 61, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, at his home, with family by his side.

He was born Jan. 29, 1962, in San Diego to the late Charles W. and Anne L. Bergeron Riggs.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

Micheal is survived by his wife, Margaret Allemang Riggs; stepsons, Benjamin (Laura) Chisman, and their children, Tara and Wyatt of Charleston, Indiana, and Timothy (Kara) Chisman, and their son, Cameron, and one more on the way, of Helena, Montana; and six sisters, Sally Riggs, Kathleen Riggs Roupp, Vicki Schildgen, Nancy Matthews, Patty Greenblatt and Kelly Forman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tom Riggs.

Micheal's wishes were fulfilled by donating his body to Washington University's School of Medicine in St. Louis. He also requested no services. Remember the memories and good times shared with him.
