Harvey Dow Jr.

Harvey Dee Dow Jr., 82 of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at his home.

He was born Feb. 23, 1941, in Cape Girardeau to the late Harvey Dee Sr. and Mary Taylor Dow.

Harvey owned and operated Dow's TV and Radio Service for 30 years and then went on to finish his career as a television and radio technician for Sears.

He married Darline Kaufmann on May 26, 1984. She preceded him in death June 10, 2010.

Survivors include his daughters, Bridget Huff and Lisa Dow, both of Cape Girardeau, and Amy (Terry) Lesch of Whitewater; son, Kevin (Mohana) Dow of Cape Girardeau; and brother, David (Patty) Dow of Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; sister, Diana Wolford; brother, Darrell Dow; mother of his four children, Dorotha Allen; and his grandson, Dewayne Felty.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 17, at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will follow at noon Friday, Nov. 17, at the funeral home, with Pastor Deborah Tracy officiating. Pallbearers will be David Dow, Kevin Dow, Corey Quintana, Nick Nance and Bob Garrett. Burial will be at St. James United Church of Christ Cemetery in Tilsit.

Memorial donations may be given to the Parkinson's Foundation.
