Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls.

Jan. 2

• Medical assists were made at 7:57 a.m. on South Mount Auburn Road; 10:31 a.m. on Doctors Park Drive; 3:01 p.m. on William Street; and 3:29 p.m. on South Benton Street.
• At 8:30 a.m., commercial fire on William Street.
• At 12:21 p.m., hazardous condition call on Watkins Drive.
• At 9:12 p.m., residential fire on East Rodney Drive.

• Medical assists were made at 8:20 a.m. on South Silver Springs Road; 8:38 a.m. on Perry Avenue; 12:57 p.m. on Bloomfield Street; 1:04 p.m. on South Mount Auburn Road; 2:24 p.m. on South Sprigg Street; and 5:42 p.m. on South West End Boulevard.
• At 9:20 a.m., fire alarm on Corporate Circle.
• At 2:05 p.m., fire alarm on Linden Street.
