Timothy Wade Birkman, son of the late William and Margaret Kinder Birkman Jr., was born Sept. 8, 1966, in Cape Girardeau and departed this life Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at his home in Delta at the age of 57. Timothy Wade Birkman, son of the late William and Margaret Kinder Birkman Jr., was born Sept. 8, 1966, in Cape Girardeau and departed this life Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at his home in Delta at the age of 57.

He was a 1984 graduate of Delta High School and a 1987 graduate of Three Rivers Community College. Tim was the parts manager for 23 years at Baker Implement Co. in Cape Girardeau. He was a lifelong member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Delta.

On Sept. 7, 1991, he was united in marriage to Jamie Floyd. She survives of the home in Delta.

Besides his wife, survivors include a son, Ryan Birkman of Delta; one daughter, Rachel Birkman of Rolla; brother, Kenneth Birkman of Advance; and numerous relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Givens.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 109 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Danny Freeland officiating. Interment will follow in the Barks Chapel Cemetery.
