Daulton Ezra Bragg, 30, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at his shop.

He was born Nov. 14, 1993, in Cape Girardeau to the late Billy Joe “Bo” and Carol Felter Bragg.

Daulton graduated with the Class of 2012 from Cape Girardeau Central High School. After graduation, he joined his dad as a mechanic at Bragg Auto Repair. After his dad’s passing two years ago, he successfully owned and operated “the shop” thanks to his loyal customers and help from family friends.

For all who knew Daulton, he was a quick-witted son, brother and uncle, always keeping family members on their toes at the weekly Sunday family dinner. He loved his mom’s cooking, always giving an honest review, and enjoyed discussing video games, TV shows and movies with his brother.

Daulton also liked hanging out by the pool with his sister and the family. He was often up for a friendly game of H-O-R-S-E with his brother-in-law. He also had a mischievous way of teaching his young nieces phrases they probably shouldn’t be saying. He loved riding his dirt bikes with a passion, had a special bond with his dog, Mya, and would do anything for his close circle of friends. His friends were like family to him, with their children even calling him Uncle Daulton.
