Vivian Green

Vivian Fern Sanders Green was born Aug. 15, 1938, at Zion, the daughter of Elbert Bert and Glenda Ellen Wilson Sanders, and passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the age of 85 years.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Irma Sanders Graham; infant sister at birth, Norma Jean Sanders; and brother- and sister-in-law, Lester and Ima Jo Barks.

She is survived by her husband, Arvel Green, who she married June 4, 1960, at Mount Pisgah Church in Zion.

She is also survived by a son, Kevin (Janice) Green of Millersville; a daughter, Elaine (Jim) Childers of Sedgewickville; four grandchildren, Brandon Thompson, Cody (Jessie) Green, Landon (Megan) Thompson and Logan (Jaimee) Green; and four great-grandchildren, Aspen Thompson, Autumn Thompson, Amelia Green and Elijah Green.

Vivian enjoyed reading, embroidery and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
