DONGOLA, Ill. -- Harold Morgan, 83, of Dongola died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, at Union County Nursing Home in Anna.

He was born Jan. 20, 1918, in Union County, son of Frank and Ella Frick Morgan. He married Mary Belle Penrod Osman.

Morgan was a retired farmer and member of Odd Fellows Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Larry Morgan of Shawneetown, Ill., Ronnie Morgan of Jonesboro, Ill.; three stepsons, Robert "Bob" Osman of Dongola, Ron and Ed Osman of Springfield, Ill.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and a great-stepgrandchild.

He was preceded in death by a sister, a granddaughter, and a stepgranddaughter.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
