Backfisch-Arnold

Rosie Ann Backfisch and Preston Dale Arnold were married July 28, 2001, at Grand Lido Resort in Negril, Jamaica. The Rev. James MA Peont performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Backfisch of Kelso, Mo., and the late Aloysius Backfisch. The groom is the son of Calvin Arnold and Bonnie Kaminsky of Sikeston, Mo.

Matron of honor was Sheila Kell of Sikeston, sister of the groom.

Richard Kell of Sikeston, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man.

A reception was held after the ceremony.

Following a cruise, the couple resides in Sikeston.

A reception, dinner and dance was held Aug. 4 at Best Western Inn at Sikeston. Patrice Cahill attended the guest book. Servers were Sharon, Teresa and Lisa Null.

The bride owns and operates Immaculate Cleaning Services in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is general manager of Old American Insurance in Cape Girardeau.
