MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Southeast Missouri State University volleyball team, the defending OVC champion, suffered its fifth conference loss Friday night.

The Otahkians fell in straight sets 11-30, 29-31, 30-17, dropping to 11-11 overall and 7-5 in OVC play. Morehead improved to 17-7 and 10-2 in the conference.

It was the eighth straight OVC win for Morehead, which improved to 7-0 at home.

Bobbi Carlile had eight kills for Southeast while Suzanne Gundlach had 14 digs.

Amy Almond had a match-high 15 kills for Morehead with teammate Cherelle Lampkins right behind with 14.
