"At first, I thought it was another terrorist attack. We don't really know. I just try to look away (from the news) until they find out what happened."

"I didn't think it was a terrorist attack. With all the security, it feels more like a mechanical thing."

"I just thought a plane messed up. Eyewitnesses said an engine fell off."

"I am already terrified of flying. Now for sure, I won't fly. There are just too many problems with flying."

"I was in a state of shock. I am extremely concerned, but I still feel relatively safe. If I had the money I would be flying right now because I know the fares would be cheaper."
