"While many ISPs concentrate their efforts in large metropolitan areas, Access US digs deep within the rural communities to ensure quality Internet service is available to everyone," said Gary Touchette, dial-up manager for Access US.

Touchette said that as a result of the upgrade, Access US dial-up subscribers will experience consistent downloads, fewer busy signals and higher connect speeds. To promote the upgrade, the company is offering a special payment plan.

Rob Semaan, Access US chief executive officer, said the company is also giving away one month of free service with no money down for new subscribers.

Semaan said the company is continuing its expansion into Missouri and Illinois residential communities, setting goals to reach over 300 communities with dial-up service in the near future.

In the Business Today coverage area, the following communities have the company's local dial-up numbers: Benton, Bloomfield, Bonne Terre, Cape Girardeau, Desoto, Farmington, Fredericktown, Jackson, Kennett, Malden, Marble Hill, Marston, Park Hills, Perryville, Poplar Bluff, Oran, Sikeston, and Ste. Genevieve.
