Consent ordinances

Held a public hearing regarding the necessity to make certain sewer improvements in Lateral Sewer District No. 14-M-2, including the construction of a sanitary sewer eight inches in diameter along with manholes, wyes, pavement restoration and other necessary appurtenances to serve Lateral Sewer District No. 14-M-2.

Approved an ordinance naming Mount Auburn Road from Bloomfield Road to its terminus with South Kingshighway.

Approved an ordinance amending Schedule T of Section 26-260 of the City Code, establishing handicapped parking spaces on Broadway and on North Lorimier Street.

Approved an ordinance establishing the boundaries of Lateral Sewer District No. 14-FF-1, a subdivision of Trunk Sewer District No. 14, approving the plans and authorizing the construction of a system of sanitary lateral sewers in Lateral Sewer District No. 14-FF-1, under a private contract subject to certain provisions.

Approved an ordinance accepting sanitary sewer easements from D&D Cape Investments, LP, and Armstrong Heritage Inc. for sanitary sewers located south of Highway 74 between I-55 and Mount Auburn Road. New ordinances

Approved an ordinance accepting a general warranty deed from William J. and Betty G. O'Kelly for the property at 717 Independence St. for the expansion of Fire Station No. 1 site.

Approved an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2403 of the city relating to hotel/motel/restaurant license tax.

Approved an ordinance authorizing the execution of a first amendment to amended and restated cooperation agreement for St. Vincent Seminary Property between Southeast Missouri State University and the city of Cape Girardeau.

Approved a resolution authorizing participation in the Energy Leveraged Loan Program of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the State Environmental Improvement and Energy Resources Authority and the execution of a loan agreement and promissory note to provide funds to finance the installation or construction of energy conservation measures.

Approved a resolution authorizing the city manager to execute a contract for a downtown decorative street light system with AmerenUE.

Approved a resolution authorizing the city manager to execute a contract for street lighting with Union Electric Co. d/b/a AmerenUE.Liquor licenses

n Approved of a Sunday sales liquor license for Independence Place Inc., d/b/a Copa Cafe and Bar, 701 N. Main, Rick Werner, managing officer.
