SIKESTON, Mo. -- Alma V. Doggett, 80, of Sikeston died Sunday.

She was born Jan. 4, 1921, in Daisy, Mo., daughter of Arnold and Bertie Alice Brown Drum.

She and David Robert Doggett were married Sept. 26, 1941, in Farmington, Mo. He died Feb. 13, 1983.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and of the United Methodist Women. She was past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 91 of Jackson, Mo. She was a deli manager for a number of years at Barkett's Big Star. She has also worked at the Sikeston Community Sheltered Workshop 10 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Lee of Sikeston; a brother, Ted Drum of Jackson; a sister, Alpha Brune of Farmington; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Koch officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home today until the funeral hour.
