Thorne-Hardy

JACKSON, Mo. -- Christy LeAnn Thorne and Shannon Lynn Hardy were married Sept. 29, 2001, at the Little Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas, Nev. The Rev. Alvin Green performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Margaret Thorne of Hudson, Fla., and the late Jerry Thorne. The groom is the son of Nancy Hardy and Bob Hardy of Jackson.

Bridesmaids were Angel Hillman of Benton, Mo.; Amie Glass, Cathy Reiminger, and Kristi Meyr, sister of the groom, all of Jackson; and Sara Daugherty of DeSoto, Mo.

Groomsmen were Neil Glass of Jackson, Lee Hillman of Benton, Todd Reiminger and Brad Meyr of Jackson, and Chris Jauch of Overland Park, Kan.

A reception was held later at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Sue Rees, Julie Brown and Pam Lange.

Mrs. Hardy is a service representative at Southwestern Bell Telephone in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service in Cape Girardeau.

The couple resides in Jackson.
