CANALOU, Mo. -- Lila Mae Scott, 88, of Canalou died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo. She was born March 14, 1913, at Morley, Mo., daughter of William P. and Artie M. Baughn Scott. She and Lee Howard Hewitt were married May 18, 1932, at Canalou. He died April 27, 1940. She and Earl Scott were married Jan. 24, 1991, in Piggott, Ark. He died Dec. 11, 1999...

CANALOU, Mo. -- Lila Mae Scott, 88, of Canalou died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born March 14, 1913, at Morley, Mo., daughter of William P. and Artie M. Baughn Scott. She and Lee Howard Hewitt were married May 18, 1932, at Canalou. He died April 27, 1940. She and Earl Scott were married Jan. 24, 1991, in Piggott, Ark. He died Dec. 11, 1999.

Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Pace and Dorotha Fowler of Canalou; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, and a brother.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Mike Cartwright officiating. Burial will be in Old Morley Cemetery.
