Davaults married 60 years

JACKSON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. William Hughes Davault of Jackson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Webster Joe and Gail Davault of Cartersville, Ga.

The Davaults were married Nov. 20, 1941, in Cape Girardeau.

They have lived in Jackson the past 45 years and are retired high school teachers. They are members of New McKendree United Methodist Church.

The couple has two children, Webster Davault, Suzanna Clippard of Oklahoma City, Okla.; five grandchildren, Kristen Clippard of Frisco, Texas, Ian and Dax Davault of Pensacola, Fla., Matthew Clippard of Sarasota, Fla., and Mark Clippard of Shawnee, Okla.; and a great-grandson, Dax Davault of Pensacola.
