JACKSON, Mo. -- Jane A. Gentry, 60, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 26, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, she was the daughter of Luther and Lillian Jacob Seabaugh.

She was married to Ralph "Bones" Gentry, who died in May 1996.

A devoted wife and mother, Gentry worked as an executive housekeeper for Holiday Inn in Cape Girardeau for more than 20 years. She had also worked at the former International Shoe Company in Jackson for many years.

She was a member of the Bones House Band.

Survivors include a special friend, Jim Ford of Oak Ridge; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Chris Schabbing and Prudy and Tom Selsor of Jackson; three grandchildren, Kelsey Powell, Tommy and Ty Selsor; and one nephew, Aaron Seabaugh of Perryville.

In addition to her husband and parents, Gentry was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Seabaugh.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. tonight at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Janet Hopkins officiating.

Burial will take place in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association.
