Cape welcomes new Army recruiter

Sergeant First Class Raymond Bugg Jr. has been assigned as Army recruiter at the U.S. Army Recruiting Station, 1397 Broadway in Cape Girardeau.

Bugg also will be responsible for recruiting for Perryville and St. Vincent's High Schools in Missouri and Dongola and Shawnee High schools in Southern Illinois.

Bugg, of Springfield, Tenn., took his basic and individual training at Fort Benning, Ga.

He has a number of awards and decorations, including two Meritorious Service medals.

Kistner promoted to sergeant

Air Force Senior Airman Bradley A. Kistner has graduated from Airman Leadership School at Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, Va., and has been selected for promotion to the rank of staff sergeant.

During the five-week course, airmen are trained to understand their positions in the Air Force organizational structure, leadership and communications skills, all of which are needed for professional development to be effective noncommissioned officers.
