Notre Dame knocks off Kennett for league win

KENNETT, Mo.-- Travis Siebert scored 20 points as Notre Dame posted an impressive SEMO Conference road victory Tuesday night, 58-46 over Kennett.

Scott Wittenborn and Doug Schaefer each added 10 points for the Bulldogs, who improved to 16-6 overall and 5-2 in league play.

Kennett fell to 15-8 and 2-5.

Kelly 71, Scott City 66

BENTON, Mo. -- Kelly led by 20 points in the first half and went on to post a Scott-Mississippi Conference victory.

Lance Scheffer paced the Hawks (5-14, 3-0) with 19 points. Tyler Schlosser had 18 and Major Burger 13.

For the Rams (8-12, 3-3), Chad Weatherspoon scored 20 points while Craig Jungers and Tyler Ward added 13 apiece.

Dexter 89, Bell City 81

DEXTER, Mo. -- Dexter wrapped up the Stoddard County Conference regular-season title with its second narrow win over Bell City in the last two weeks.

The Bearcats (19-3, 7-0), who were ahead by just one point with a minute to play, were led by Chris Carr's 20 points.

Dominitrix Johnson paced the Cubs (18-5, 6-1) with 29 points. C.J. Hadley had 18, Eric Henry 13 and Jason Rampley 11.

Leopold 49, Chaffee 45

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Leopold built a 21-11 halftime lead and held off Chaffee in Mississippi Valley Conference play.

Kevin Holzum paced the Wildcats (5-13, 2-1) with 17 points. Josh Van de Ven and Scott VanGennip both added 13.

James Reischman led the Red Devils (4-14, 1-2) with 12 points. Andrew Horrell had 10.

St. Vincent 55, Crystal City 53

CRYSTAL CITY, Mo.-- St. Vincent broke a late tie and posted a Jefferson County Conference victory.

Matt Wengert led the Indians (8-8, 2-6) with 13 points. Adam Bockman added 12 while Tyler Wengert and Andrew Prost had 11 each.

Advance 61, Woodland 50

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Jared Ritter scored 20 points and Andrew Jenkins added 15 to lead Advance (14-7, 4-3) to a Stoddard County Conference victory.

Woodland (9-10, 0-4) got 19 points from Luke Johnson and 12 from Travis Benfield.

Oak Ridge 53, Meadow Heights 49

OAK RIDGE, Mo. -- Clayton Ruesler scored 18 points, Adam Hahs had 10 and Jeff Cowan 10 to lead Oak Ridge (7-13, 2-1) in Mississippi Valley Conference play.

Joey Bell had 11 points for Meadow Heights (11-8, 2-2).

Sikeston 66, Oran 39

ORAN, Mo. -- Lontas McClinton scored 18 points, Justin Freeman hit five 3-pointers and scored 17 points and Lavar Morgan added 15 points to lead Sikeston (12-9).

Oran (14-6) got 11 points from Patrick Friga.
