CASSVILLE, Mo. -- Three Missourians died in a traffic accident in Barry County when one vehicle hit another head-on, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

The accident happened about 1 p.m. Friday on Missouri 37 about four miles north of Cassville, the patrol said. The vehicle driven by 16-year-old Erik Boman of Pierce City crossed the center line and struck the car driven by Edith Pollick of Cassville, the patrol said.

Boman, the 75-year-old Pollick and her husband James Pollick, 82, all were pronounced dead at the scene, the patrol said.
