JONESBORO, Ill. -- Carl F. "Jim" Westbrook, 87, of Jonesboro died Friday, March 1, 2002, at the Jonesboro Health Care Center. He was born April 7, 1914, in Union County, son of Francis and Cora Ann Lowery Westbrook. He and Ruby Mae Benson were married Jan. 18, 1935. She died April 2, 1999...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Carl F. "Jim" Westbrook, 87, of Jonesboro died Friday, March 1, 2002, at the Jonesboro Health Care Center.

He was born April 7, 1914, in Union County, son of Francis and Cora Ann Lowery Westbrook.

He and Ruby Mae Benson were married Jan. 18, 1935. She died April 2, 1999.

Survivors include two daughters, Flo Ann Deppe of Percy, Ill., Louise Glasco of Anna, Ill.; two sons, Adrian Westbrook of Jonesboro, John Westbrook of Richmond, Ind.; a brother, Francis Westbrook of Anna; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Galbraith officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
