Trinity Lutheran Church was the setting Dec. 8, 2001, for the wedding of Brandy Lynn Haman and Jarrod Scott Thomas. The Rev. Douglas C. Breite performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Madelyn Rasche, flutist was Beth Stevens, and soloist was Megan Edmonds.

Parents of the couple are Alan and Sandy Haman and Chris and Carolyn Thomas, all of Cape Girardeau.

Maid of honor was Kendra Kelley of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Courtney Haman, sister of the bride; Regan Kelley and Jill Benton, all of Cape Girardeau, and Nell Garrigan of Hickman, Ky.

Blake Thomas of Scott City, Mo., served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Bourbon, Shawn Reynolds, Eddie Barnhill and Kevin Reiminger, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Jay Green, cousin of the bride, and Bucky McCarley, both of Cape Girardeau.

Candlelighters were Stephanie Shaw of New Athens, Ill., and Janelle Cortez of Edwardsville, Ill.

Flower girl was Reed Thomas of Cape Girardeau, niece of the groom. Ringbearers were Joshua Thomas of Scott City, nephew of the groom, and Stephen Hoffmeister of Cape Girardeau.

Guest book attendants were Julie Hogan, Mitch Ogles, and Brittany Bollinger, cousin of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Laura Diederich; Margaret Haman, aunt of the bride; and Colleen Mullarney.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Dec. 7 at the KC Hall.

Mrs. Thomas is a 1996 graduate of Central High School, and a 2001 graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She is a dental hygienist for Dr. Keith Cooper in Perryville, Mo.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Central High School, and a 2001 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He is a CSC manager with Allied Specta Guard.

The couple resides in Perryville.
