ST. MARY, Mo. -- Shannon Breig and Randy Clifton exchanged vows Oct. 20, 2001, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Richard Kasznel performed the double ring ceremony. Eucharistic ministers were Don and Martha Schwent. The offertory was presented by Buddy and Carol Breig and Art and Carol Miserocchi.
Lector was Bonnie Welker, and servers were Justin Breig, Rikki Ritter and Jordan Ritter. Music was provided by The Kinnisons of Perryville, Mo.
Dean and Sandy Breig of St. Mary are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Bernard M. Clifton and Karen Ellis of Perryville.
Maid of honor was Amy Breig of St. Mary, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Arlene Breig of Perryville, sister-in-law of the bride; Brenda Hoehn and Connie Gotto of Perryville and Susan Sauer of Eureka, Mo., all sisters of the groom.
Tom Huber of Perryville served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Mike Breig, brother of the bride, Jason Rodewald, both of Perryville; John Breig of St. Mary, brother of the bride; and Donnie Moll of Perryville. Ushers were Wayne Schremp and Tim Schumer of Perryville.
Candlelighters were Becky Chapman of St. Mary, cousin of the bride, and Lindsey Dobbelare of Perryville.
Flower girl was Amanda Breig of Perryville, niece of the bride.
Programs were handed out by Nikki Lappe and Kim Strattman.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the American Legion Hall in Perryville.
The rehearsal dinner was held Oct. 19 at Hotel Ste. Genevieve in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
Mrs. Clifton is a 1995 graduate of Perryville High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000. She is a nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Perryville High School. He is employed at Clifton Farms and Excavating in Perryville.
After a wedding trip to Waikiki, Hawaii, the couple resides in Perryville.
