ANNA, Ill. -- Annie Marie Penninger Hileman, 88, of Anna died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at Jonesboro Health Care Center. She was born Jan. 7, 1914, in Lick Creek, Ill., daughter of Charles L. and Bertha Ann Corbit Penninger. She and Fred G. Hileman were married Sept. 23, 1933, in Lick Creek. He died Feb. 20, 1998...

ANNA, Ill. -- Annie Marie Penninger Hileman, 88, of Anna died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at Jonesboro Health Care Center.

She was born Jan. 7, 1914, in Lick Creek, Ill., daughter of Charles L. and Bertha Ann Corbit Penninger. She and Fred G. Hileman were married Sept. 23, 1933, in Lick Creek. He died Feb. 20, 1998.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Anna and was retired from the former International Shoe Co.

Survivors include a sister, Mae Hughes of Vancouver, Wash.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and on Wednesday until the funeral.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Joe Hankla and Sidney Davis officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
