SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Margaret Francis Cope, 60, of Scott City died Monday, March 4, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 30, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Alvin Ray and M. Madeline Bader Stoffregen. She and Daniel Jessie Cope were married July 25, 1957, in Cape Girardeau...

SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Margaret Francis Cope, 60, of Scott City died Monday, March 4, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 30, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Alvin Ray and M. Madeline Bader Stoffregen. She and Daniel Jessie Cope were married July 25, 1957, in Cape Girardeau.

Cope was a member of Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Danny Cope of Scott City; her mother of Zalma, Mo.; and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lightner Cemetery, with Bryan McAlister officiating.
