Barbara Scott

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Funeral for Barbara Ann Scott of Arnold, Mo., will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The Rev. Glenn Rehkop will officiate. Burial will be in Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.

Scott, 53, died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis.

She was born July 29, 1948, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of Jay Lee and Anna Frances Osborn. She and Thomas E. Scott were married July 8, 1967, in Poplar Bluff.

Scott worked at White Rodgers in Affton, Mo., prior to becoming ill. She was a member of Grace Free Will Baptist Church in Arnold.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Darrin Scott of Jackson, Mo., Todd Scott of Arnold; her mother, Anna Swank of Poplar Bluff; a brother, James Osborn of Poplar Bluff; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her father and a son.
