Ruslan Salei scored for Anaheim and assisted on a goal by rookie Andy McDonald.

The Ducks, who have the league's least productive power play, came up empty during eight minutes of power-play time during a 10:17 span of the second period -- and were outshot 3-2.

Alexander Khavanov received a five-minute major and game misconduct for elbowing McDonald in the face, and the Blues tied the score at 2 with 12 seconds left on Khavanov's major penalty.
