ANNA, Ill. -- Robert Michael "Mike" Henard, 49, of Anna died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2002, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Ill. He was born March 17, 1952, in Bartonville, Ill., son of Robert and Dorothy Houghlan Henard. He was born March 17, 1952, in Bartonville, Ill., son of Robert and Dorothy Houghlan Henard. His parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by aunts and uncles, Helen and Bob Anderson of Herrin, Ill., JoAnn and Jim Keller of Makanda, Ill., Doris Davis of Anna, Bob Chamness of Anna and many cousins and friends.

He attended the Anna United Methodist Church. He owned and operated Safe-Lite Co. in Anna. He graduated from Anna-Jonesboro Central High School in 1970 where he played three sports. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in political science.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Casper Cemetery, with the Rev. Jimmy Keller officiating.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
