SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Arlene Dumey, 72, of Scott City died Sunday, March 17, 2002, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 2, 1929, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Curtis William and Bertha Thedora Pfefferkorn LeVan. She and Henry Albert Dumey were married Nov. 22, 1948. He died Sept. 5, 1994.

Dumey was a bookkeper at Super Value in Scott City. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo., and the ladies' sodality of the church.

Survivors include a brother, Curtis LeVan of St. Louis.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish rosary will be at 6 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in the St. Augustine cemetery.
