Beack, of Chesterfield, had been breaking into homes to take underwear since January, police said. They said Beack knew each of the victims because they were classmates or neighbors.

He was arrested March 12 after a woman spotted someone lurking around her home in Town and Country. The woman called police after he tried to enter the house through two different doors. He fled when he saw her looking out a window, said Cpl. Jeff Myer of Town and County police.
