Kristin L. Schug, 24, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Sunday for driving while intoxicated.

ArrestsRuth A. Weibley, 48, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Friday for failure to appear on a charge of passing bad checks.

Sumner L. Harris, 27, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Sunday for possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear in traffic court.

Eric C. Rasmussen, 32, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Sunday for failure to appear in traffic court.

Joseph M. Kelly, 27, Jackson, Mo., was arrested Wednesday for endangering the welfare of a child.

The following individuals were transported to the Missouri Department of Corrections:Keith L. McFerren, 27, Cape Girardeau, to serve 10 years for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Sumner L. Harris, 27, Cape Girardeau, to serve 7 years for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Ray S. Purl, 19, Cape Girardeau, to serve 8 years for possession of a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance.

Jail population Thursday: 148.
