Track hosts meet today

Southeast's track and field program will host the April Fools Invitational today at the Abe Stuber Complex.

Field events will begin at noon, with running events starting at 1 p.m.

No team scores will be kept for the men's and women's meets featuring teams from Southeast, Murray State, Missouri-Rolla, Bethel, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville and Florissant Valley Community College.

"This should be some good competition against teams we don't see a lot," Southeast coach Joey Haines said.

Southeast is coming off a strong showing at the Alabama Relays last week. Jaret Willi (pole vault), Jay Heddell (shot put) and Heather Jenkins (discus) all won titles.

Following today's meet, Southeast will host the 21st annual All Sport Classic next Friday and Saturday.
