Sharon Rice

MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Sharon Lynn Rice, 50, of Mound City died Friday, April 12, 2002, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

She was born Nov. 29, 1951, in Portsmouth, Va., daughter of Ernest A. and Doris Dunn Dartt.

She was married to Eddie Rice. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Doris Dartt, of Blackstone, Mass.; a son, Robert Gonzalus, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; three brothers, Michael Dartt of Milford, Mass., Brian Dartt of Millville, Mass., and Chris Dartt, of Blackstone, Mass.; three sisters, Patricia Ray of Millville, Sandra Remblad of Columbia, S.C., and Lori Harrison of Woonsocket, R.I.; one granddaughter; and a long-time companion, Johnny Ray Houston of Mound City.

She was preceded in death by her father and a son.

Services will be announced later by Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.
