EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Funeral for Toleitha Gale Davis of Memphis, Tenn., will be at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home. Tom Geers will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston, Mo.
Davis, 58, died Saturday, April 13, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
She was born Nov. 20, 1943, in East Prairie, daughter of Calvin and Almeda Cutliph Presley.
Davis was a 1962 graduate of Sikeston High School. She was a professional twirler and won several competitions, and taught baton twirling before moving to Memphis. She was a member of First Christian Church in Sikeston.
She was a waitress at Pete and Sam's Restaurant in Memphis.
Survivors include a daughter, Laura Davis of Memphis; her parents of Panama City Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Lynn Presley of Sikeston, Floyd "Buck" Presley of Panama City Beach; a sister, Lou Ann King of Panama City Beach; and two grandchildren.
