ANNA, Ill. -- Caroline Davidson, 72, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at Select Specialty Hospital in St. Louis. She was born July 14, 1929, in Elmwood, Ill., daughter of George and Florence Kaiser Hovenden. She and John D. Davidson were married April 6, 1952. She was born July 14, 1929, in Elmwood, Ill., daughter of George and Florence Kaiser Hovenden. She and John D. Davidson were married April 6, 1952. He died June 12, 1978.
Davidson was a registered nurse and retired from Choate Mental Health Center. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Robin Davidson of Buncombe, Ill.; a daughter, Carol Davidson of Seattle, Wash.; a friend, Ralph Box of Anna; and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Msgr. Tom Miller officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
