MOUNT VERNON, Ill. -- Nola A. Tedrick, 93, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Country Side Manor in Mount Vernon. She was born May 3, 1908, in Mulberry Grove, Ill., the daughter of Fredrick Louis and Mary Mollie Minor Dothager. She married Ralph Raymond Tedrick on Jan. 27, 1934, in Decatur, Ill. He died May 15, 1987...

MOUNT VERNON, Ill. -- Nola A. Tedrick, 93, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Country Side Manor in Mount Vernon.

She was born May 3, 1908, in Mulberry Grove, Ill., the daughter of Fredrick Louis and Mary Mollie Minor Dothager. She married Ralph Raymond Tedrick on Jan. 27, 1934, in Decatur, Ill. He died May 15, 1987.

She was a public school teacher for 14 years in Fayette, Colo., then worked as a food service supervisor for 20 years at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill.

Survivors include a son, Roger B. Tedrick of Mount Vernon; two daughters, Sheila Vaughn of Aptos, Calif., and Dawne McConnaughhay of Georgetown, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville, Ill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Ewald officiating. Burial will follow in McInturff Cemetery in Mulberry Grove.
