Melvin Kiefer
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Melvin A. "Tige" Kiefer, 90, of Perryville died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 1911, in Perry County, son of Andrew and Albertine Annie Feltz Kiefer. Kiefer was a toe laster at International Shoe Co. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus, and member of American Legion Boosters...PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Melvin A. He was born Nov. 15, 1911, in Perry County, son of Andrew and Albertine Annie Feltz Kiefer.
Kiefer was a toe laster at International Shoe Co. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus, and member of American Legion Boosters.

Survivors include a sister, Mildred Mitchell of Perryville, and a brother, Lloyd Kiefer of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30 to 9:40 a.m. The parish and Knights of Columbus wake will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
