Sounds like punishment I DON'T know all the ins and outs of the rule regarding private school enrollment, but it does sound a bit like it's punishing private schools just because they win too much. Wouldn't that be sort of like taking Michael Jordan in his prime and tying one arm behind his back just because he won a lot of games? It seems like the same thing...

Enjoyed old feature

I ALWAYS enjoyed the sports version of "Out of the Past." Is there any chance of it resurfacing?

I THINK the St. Louis Cardinals should forget a new stadium. Tony and his millionaire players couldn't even fill up Capaha Park with their poor play. When will some wake up that we don't need to subsidize millionaires to play a child's game?

Vote was overdue

IT'S ABOUT time the public schools stood up for themselves and voted to create fair play in high school athletics. The vote was long overdue.

Public schools even now

CONGRATULATIONS TO the public schools. I'm glad to see them finally put on a level playing field. I just hope the legal battles don't keep this law from starting.

Looking forward to it

IT'S REALLY going to be hilarious next season if Notre Dame jumps up to Class 4A and wins a state championship. I'll wet my pants from laughing so hard at the public schools who thought they were going to take the private schools out of contention. As an added bonus, Notre Dame will get to beat Jackson, Central and all our other local schools in the district tournament on their way to state. I can't wait.
