JACKSON, Mo. -- Robert Eugene Stacy, 75, of Jackson died Monday, June 3, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Sept. 29, 1926, at Festus, Mo., son of Charles J. and Ollie Dorothy McCormick Stacy. He and Rosemary L. Elliff were married June 28, 1952...

JACKSON, Mo. -- Robert Eugene Stacy, 75, of Jackson died Monday, June 3, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 29, 1926, at Festus, Mo., son of Charles J. and Ollie Dorothy McCormick Stacy. He and Rosemary L. Elliff were married June 28, 1952.

Stacy was a machinist 33 years in the textile industry, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Algabil Freedom Masonic Lodge 636 AF&AM in Mehlville, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, and a daughter, Karen Stacy of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and a sister.

There is no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jackson. The Rev. Bob Cheney will officiate.

Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
