Donald Munz

WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Donald Ray "Donnie" Munz, 63, of Wolf Lake died Tuesday, June 25, 2002, in Wolf Lake.

He was born Sept. 18, 1938, at Grand Tower, Ill., son of Fred and Lucille Rogers Munz.

Munz worked on the family farm several years, was employed by Illinois Central Railroad, retired from Ensign Bickford in February 2001, and was currently employed by Randy Myers Farm Service.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his mother of Wolf Lake; two sisters, Joan Mowery of Jonesboro, Ill., Venita Krause of Gorham, Ill.; a brother, Fred Munz of Fairmont, W.Va.; and a friend, Beverly Winans of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro after 5 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Prather officiating. Burial will be in Walker Hill Cemetery.
