Elnora Brown

ST. MARY, Mo. -- Elnora R. Brown, 69, of St. Mary died Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at St. Louis University Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 23, 1932, in Kaskaskia, Ill., the daughter of Clarence and Violet Jackson Denniger. She married Jules Brown on July 5, 1951, in Piggott, Ark. He survives.

She was a past matron and member of the Order of Easter Star Chapter 338 St. Mary and member of the Capha Scottish Rite Woman's Club. She was a member of Women on Mission of Trinity Baptist Church and served as the church clerk for 10 years.

She also is survived by a daughter, Audry Bruckerhoff of St. Mary; two brothers, Clarence Denninger of St. Mary and Stanley Denniger of Perryville, Mo.; four sisters, Gladys Moll, Zelma Allen and Eunice Allen, all of St. Mary, and Erma Hoggenmiller of Ste. Genevieve; two grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.

Visitation will be at 3 p.m. today at Basler Funeral Home in St. Mary.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Irvin Brooks officiating.

Burial will be at St. Marys Cemetery in St. Mary.
