Barbara Thomas

Barbara Ann Boswell Thomas, 59, of Reno, Nev., passed away June 4, 2002, in Reno.

She was born to the late Clyde R. and Mamie Steeg Boswell Feb. 4, 1943, in Cape Girardeau.

Barbara attended Washington School until 1955, at which time her family moved to Waukegan, Ill. Barbara graduated from St. Luke's Hospital Nursing School in St. Louis.

Surviving is a son, Christopher Thomas of Reno; a stepson, Rick Thomas, a stepdaughter, Sheri Thomas, both of California; four brothers, Bill Boswell of Cape Girardeau, Dr. Jerry Boswell of Colorado, Clyde Boswell Jr. and Dean Boswell, both of California; a sister, Dorothy Richardson of Knoxville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, all of Reno; an aunt, Georgia Cauble of Cape Girardeau; several nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bob Boswell; and a sister, Lawana Hanna.

Service was held June 8, 2002, in Reno.
