Stoner reportedly started the vehicle and allowed it to run a short time before pulling forward to help in taking down a rodeo scoreboard, at which time Krebs was struck by the back tires.

In a released statement, the Sikeston Jaycees expressed their sympathies to Krebs' family and said that the group will continue to cooperate with law enforcement officials as the investigation continues.
