SIU announces 2002-2003 season CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Performances of Cuban, jazz, modern dance and ballet, the musical "South Pacific" and Jack Klugman in "On Golden Pond" headline the 2002-2003 season at SIU's Shryock Auditorium. SIU announces 2002-2003 season

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Performances of Cuban, jazz, modern dance and ballet, the musical "South Pacific" and Jack Klugman in "On Golden Pond" headline the 2002-2003 season at SIU's Shryock Auditorium.

Other shows include a musical about Hank Williams, the patriotic "George M!," Barry Manilow's "Copacabana," and the teaming of the Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra with the doo-wop group The Ink Spots.

Native American performances this weekend

WICKLIFFE, Ky. -- The Change In Breeze Singers, Native American Drum will perform Saturday and Sunday at Wickliffe Mounds Research Center.

The all-woman group will present a Native American drum, story telling, singing, pow-wow culture, dance styles and regalia.

Programs will be given at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day.

Admission is $5 for adults, for $4.75 for senior adults, $4 for ages 6-11 and free for children under 6.

'Come to a Luau' scheduled Saturday

A dance called "Come to a Luau" will be held Saturday at St. Vincent's Gym, corner of Forest and Ritter Drive.

The 7:30 p.m. dance will feature Charlie's Music Revue.

The event is sponsored by Beginning Experience, a peer group for people who are divorced, widowed or separated.

St. Louis exhibition ends Sept. 15.

ST. LOUIS -- The exhibition "Orazio and Artemisia Gentileschi: Father and Daughter Painters in Baroque Italy" continues through Sept. 15 at the St. Louis Art Museum.

'Harvey' to begin Aug. 29 at Market House Theatre

PADUCAH, Ky. -- "Harvey," a play about an invisible 6-foot-tall rabbit, opens Aug. 29 at the Market House Theatre.

The play will continue through Sept. 14.
