Douglas Brewster
MINNITH, Mo. -- Douglas J. "Bud" Brewster, 87, of Minnith died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at his home. He was born April 2, 1915, at Minnith, son of George W. and Rosa Schaaf Brewster. He and Roela V. He was born April 2, 1915, at Minnith, son of George W. and Rosa Schaaf Brewster. He and Roela V. Counts were married Sept. 22, 1938. She died Dec. 12, 1990.
Brewster was retired from Mississippi Lime Co. He was a member of Saline Baptist Church in Minnith, and VFW in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a sister, Georgie Tomlinson of Ladue, Mo.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Saturday after 6:30 a.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Steve Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Saline Baptist Cemetery, with military graveside rites by Missouri Military Honors Team.
