PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Three women were arrested Sept. 3 by the Perry County Sheriff's Department on distributing a controlled substance. PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Three women were arrested Sept. 3 by the Perry County Sheriff's Department on distributing a controlled substance.

Members of the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force and the sheriff's office conducted a three-month investigation that resulted in the arrest of Dorothy J. Falkner, 51, of Longtown, Mo., on four counts of distributing OxyContin. Also charged with distribution and delivery of the drug were Judy C. Combs, 49, and Dawn M. Cline, 34, both of Perryville, Mo.

OxyContin is a pain medicine often prescribed to cancer patients.

All three women are held at the Perry County Jail, with Combs and Cline having bonds of $50,000 each and Falkner a bond of $100,000.
