Lester Davis
JONESBORO, Ill. -- The funeral for Lester E. Davis of Jonesboro will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home. The Rev. James Hardway will officiate. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery. Davis, 75, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002.

He was born Sept. 18, 1926, in Jonesboro, son of Lawrence and Irene C. Coleman Davis.
Davis was a self-employed painter. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include two sisters, Ruth Whiting of Jonesboro, Edna Hill of Marion, Ill.; three brothers, Lawrence Davis Jr. and Russell Davis of Anna, Ill., and Robert Davis of Indianapolis, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
