Rapes A rape was reported at 10:41 p.m. Tuesday.

A rape was reported at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday.

DWI Booker T. Lumas, 56, of 406 N. Spanish, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests Rodney J. Rush, 35, of 59 N. Park, was arrested Tuesday on a Scott County warrant for nonsupport.

Rebecca A. Searals, 20, of 2225 Sherwood, was arrested Tuesday on a Madison County warrant for failure to appear.

A 58-year-old male was placed in protective custody Tuesday.

Edwin W. Minner, 25, of 315 Riley, New Madrid, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stealing.

William R. Austin, 30, of 216 E. Francis, Howardville, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and stealing.

Jon K. Lewis, 49, of 501 Broadway, was arrested Tuesday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for assault.

Vicki M. Jenkins, 52, of 1232 W. Jackson Blvd, Jackson, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear and contempt of court.

Blaine C. Bidstrup, 17, of 3219 Lakewood, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault.

A subject was placed in custody Wednesday pending the filing of formal charges for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

A 16-year-old juvenile was cited to juvenile court pending the filing of formal charges for possession of marijuana.

Summonses

Roger H. Haselbusch, 26, of 420 S. Ellis, received a summons Tuesday on suspicion of property damage.

John R. Miller, 22, of 221 Kies, Jackson, Mo., received a summons Tuesday on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thefts

A purse and contents were reported stolen Tuesday at 35 S. Kingshighway.

A computer and television were reported stolen Tuesday at Wal-Mart at 3439 William.

A bicycle was reported stolen Tuesday at 2310 Horseshoe Ridge.

A purse, makeup, key chains and miscellaneous items were reported stolen Tuesday at Wal-Mart at 3439 William. A 16-year-old female was cited to juvenile court.

Gasoline was reported stolen Tuesday at Amoco D-Mart at 3276 William.

A digital analyzer with a black case was reported stolen Wednesday by Charter Communications at 1418 Pemiscot.

A CD player, speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers and CDs were reported stolen Wednesday at 610 Lafayette Plaza.

A vacuum and a CD player were reported stolen Wednesday at 1710 N. Sprigg.

A CD player, speakers, subwoofers, a wallet and CDs were reported stolen Wednesday at 1710 N. Sprigg.

Credit cards were reported stolen Wednesday at 97 N. Kingshighway.Property Damages

Graffiti was reported Tuesday on concrete overpass at Interstate 55 and Highway 74.

Graffiti was reported Tuesday on wall at 538 Broadway.

Graffiti was reported Tuesday on wall at 629 Broadway.

Miscellaneous A 15-year-old male was reported Tuesday as a runaway.

An attempted kidnapping was reported Tuesday at Independence and Caruthers. No charges were filed.

A wallet was reported found Tuesday at William and Interstate 55.

A red 1985 Toyota pickup was reported abandoned Wednesday at 741 Mount Auburn.
